Is there some place in R ideology where one must drop their brain...
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 07:32 AM by rasputin1952
on the floor before they say something?

I'm listening to C-SPAN this AM and I really have to wonder if some of the callers are escapees from the vegetable bin of the local store. Where do these people come from?

Some pinhead stated that the Hammer and Sickle will be flying over the WH, and we're "losing our freedoms". Where the hell was this clown during the bush/cheney administration...an administration that had an R congress, and a compliant USSC. With that, they damn near destroyed this country and eviscerated the Bill of Rights. Never before had this nation come so close to becoming a totalitarian state, and yet some goomers think that was "fine".

Now I know that inbreeding is not a good thing...hasn't anyone told the new breed of R's that? Oh, right, that's science, something the GOP dropped out of the window as well...:eyes:

2. If they would just stay apathetic
Which is what they really are if they are so uninformed.

They just think what their clergy tell them to think. Stupider than dirt.

5. But you see...
That was facism based on THEIR ideology, which is perfectly acceptable.

I've said this before. Conservatives only love this country if they're allowed to be in charge. Otherwise, they hate democracy and the democratic process with a white-hot fury. That's what is behind the wild "hammer and sickle" rhetoric that you hear from these people.

To their credit -- and much to my personal annoyance -- there are a good number of progressives who are hitting the Obama Administration HARD on things like Gitmo and ending the war. Unlike the other side, we don't sit comfortably with facism even when it's "our guy" in the White House making the decisions. We're just not wired the same.
