11. He is way too moderate for the primary voters' tastes right now.
He is pro-choice, for starters.

You'll be able to tell how serious he is about running for President versus staying in Mass. for a while by how far rightward he shifts during his term.

19. We better hope they run Palin.
I actually think she would be easier to beat than Brown.

Actually, the two are very similar, but she has a lot more baggage.

His senate term is up in '12, so he'll have to pick one or the other.

20. It is easy to win....
when your opponent fails to define you. I heard today on Rhandi's show that if you went to his website he had ZERO information on where he stands on foreign policy and very little on anything else. He is against taxing Wall Street. Why did this lady not blast this? Rachel said a lot of his voters have no idea where he stands on most issues because he was allowed to define himself. All 3 major dem losses (Virginia, NJ, now MA) have all been by lost by very weak candidates. This is a complete choke job by this woman.

22. Brown is pro-choice, for MA healthcare mandate, same-sex marriage...
...so not a chance... as time goes on, he will be viewed as too liberal by the Right Wing. The base would never allow him as candidate.

26. Oh no they won't
Republican primaries are brutal. Brown got national support because of the unique nature of the race. That won't apply to 2012.

27. I'm Not So Sure...
I have an ominous feeling about him...in most cases I would absolutely agree with you, but I think he has that blank-slate quality that will potentially create a large following, just like it has in MA. If he runs, I think he's probably the one to beat...

29. Yeah, they don't have the purists we have
We can only win for short periods before we are judged by our own for not getting them what they want fast enough.

Right wingers don't do that to the Repukes.
