One Year Ago Today, Barack Obama Was Inaugurated
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 07:27 AM by MannyGoldstein
Obama ran on change.

Last night, Americans showed that they still thirst for change.

We accomplished an amazing thing a year ago - we can accomplish amazing things again. Let's pull together and do so.

2. Congratulations on getting your change

Just what you always wanted, I'm sure.

Keep sending that message, Manny! Just remember, keep wishing that electing Republicans will give you progressive legislation, and maybe - just maybe - it'll come true!

8. You're the ones who are professionals at being "disappointed."
You're really going to be disappointed now.

5. Last night they said they don't want change
Or, the progressives said if they can't get their way 100% within one year, they'd rather not have any change at all.

7. The Dems can't even get you 1% of your way?
Stay home then. No party will ever satisfy you.

Enjoy trying to get the Republicans to get you .000000000000000001% of everything you want.

Goddamned purists practically deserve to have this Repuke filibuster Senate. Now you'll get nothing.
