The Republicans bash the Democrats and President Obama every chance they get
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 08:36 AM by NJmaverick
They do this because it helps to undermine the Democrat's standing with the independents and moderates.

1. When one's President is RISK ADVERSE save where it benefits Wall Street or the MIC ....
that makes him "an easy target."

6. Those in power are always easy targets
that's why the right bends over backwards to protect the Republicans.

2. Very true.
But, sometimes the Democrats give them a good excuse to bash. See: Martha Coakley's campaign.

4. The Republicans hardly do more of it than the "progressives"
who claim to be our "base."

No wonder we can't get anywhere with anything.

8. it is a war of attrition ...
They repeat their BS enough to actually come to believe it, but at their heart, they know they are selling BS, and that only way to win is to drag EVERYONE down into the mud, where they simply are meaner and fight dirtier ...

And, yes, the MSM for a variety of reasons is a willing partner to this process ...

7. They have a lot of help from misleading talk radio. We have got to find a way to reach people
and get our messages out. The only messages people hear come from Fox News and those awful RW radio programs. Sunday political talk shows isn't enough and just reaching bloggers aren't enough.
