2. I thought Dean hinted that the Dems have become very hostile toward the left |
|
that got them this far. Dean knows people want the public option and the fact that they aren't getting it has kept the left away from the polls. This really is just one issue among many but a valid point. Dean rightfully points out that the left in MA just delivered the party leadership a blow by staying home.
And I also get the feeling that Dean looks forward to maybe running against Brown at some point.

I'm not up on New England rivalries but maybe the Massachusetts folks wouldn't like a vermonter lol. Greyson should move there and run

6. I have no issue with it at all. |
|
We had a Utah Governor carpet bag the state. if he can win here so can a guy from Vermont.
Dean seems to understand that the Left, who stayed home in droves, did so to deliver a very stern warning shot. In essence, if the Dems want to continue to be the party that "Ended Welfare as we know it" the left is no longer going to give them welfare votes.
He even said these people voted for change and the Democrats have not delivered.

8. Nah, NH and Vermont are the states that have the big rivalry. |
|
CT and Mass used to have basketball rivalries, back when UMASS was actually good.

5. Dean was right on, as usual, but I wouldn't say they had a "debate". |
|
As usual, Mathews thought what HE had to say was far more important than anything his guest might say. Dr. Dean called him on it several times, even calling him "silly" and "crazy".
Wish Mathews could just learn when to STFU, which, for him, is most of the time.
