Hawaii election to fill Neil Abercrombie's rep seat is next.

Hawaii election to fill Neil Abercrombie's rep seat is next.
He is resigning to run for Governor. Now if the republican wins THIS race it would be Incredibly bad. Right Now he trails two dems. But the leading dem supported Joe Lieberman in 2004. Ugh. The other dem who our two senators support is Colleen Hanabusa.

1. Well our batting average in post 2008 elections sucks big time

We are 1 for 4 in big races so far. I think last night's win WAS incredibly bad. We actually would have been better off winning last night and losing the seat in Hawaii (not that I wanted lose it, but we have larger lead in the House).

Last I had heard, Hawaii couldn't come up with the money for the interim election. Did they finally find a way to do that? If so, what are the dates?

2. Let's hope the Democrats here are working hard and not slacking off
They need to run like they are down 40%, taking no chances.
