1. Dean thinks that Obama has done well in a lot of areas.
I think Obama screwed up on health care because he was trying not to do a Bill Clinton - i.e. direct everything from the WH, and thus lose. He wanted the congress to do their jobs, and they did not.

However, I think what has happened is a blessing in disguise - hopefully the fear of more losses will ensure that there is no crap in the reconciliation bill.
