When are they going to do away with elections altogether? Why maintain the pretense anymore?

3. elections are good theatre.
And muckraking campaigns serve to keep most people disgusted and disinterested with politics in general. Elections will continue. Just not meaningful ones.

Screw Elections, we'll just be HONEST and sell seats in the House and Senate. Think of the revenue that would bring in -- and we'd be saving the taxpayers the time and considerable expense of holding all those damned elections.

Who the hell says you can't put a price on Freedom?!

For Sale: Seat in the United States House of Representatives for the 5th Congressional District of Wisconsin. And instead of that nincompoop Jim Sensenbrenner, I could be getting a Corporate Overlord who (ironically) might provide better representation that what I'm getting now.

13. If the taxpayers purchase a seat
and the representative or senator fails to perform can the purchased congressman or senator be returned for a full refund?
