Who sees a TV ad and votes based on it alone?? Idiots!

They see a TV ad and believe it and vote based on it.

They are not curious enough to question what the ad says. They don't question motive. They are too lazy to research the topic on their own.

So between American Idol singers they see an ad and base their vote on it.

Like George Carlin said.....

“Just think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize half of them are even stupider!”

2. The voter must be given an alternative to the corporate option.
The voter isn't stupid.

4. The culture breeds and nutures stupidity, ignorance and complacency.

6. Perhaps the next step then will have to be intelligence tests for qualifying voters
That might have to be an idea now worth considering. Too many people have a childlike gullibility to be manipulated.

8. Yes they are. Can't do anything about that
I have to admit when I go to vote I know next to nothing about my school board candidates or my state reps/senators. We know about national politics because we read this board and the web and watch MSNBC.

For people that don't have the time, they take in the media as it hits them. So the push ads will make an impact because it is what they see in the middle of the things they really want to watch or listen to.
