Stewart Impersonates Olbermann, Gives 'Special Comment'

Jon Stewart targeted MSNBC's Keith Olbermann on The Daily Show last night, slamming the host with his own "special comment."

Stewart put on a pair of glasses and impersonated Olbermann, mocking him for is over-the-top critique of Sen.-elect Scott Brown (R-MA): 'Now you are just calling people names."

1. That was funnier than shit.
It didn't seem mean-spirited at all. In fact, I got the impression that Stewart likes Olbermann and his special comments, but thinks he's gone overboard.

I hope Keith takes it in the humorous (and friendly) spirit in which it's intended.

Hilarious.

15. I got the exact same feeling
and KO admitted as much. It didn't seem as if KO had any hard feelings, especially since he started his rebuttal with a not so subtle request to come on TDS.

5. humor
Keith has a sense of humor so I'm sure he appreciates the crafting of Stewart here.

Question: Was the other stuff Jon quoted from Keith stuff Keith has actually said, or was it scripted for this segment?

Just wondering?

7. Maybe Stewart
wants an invite to KO's show?
Can't you just see a mock debate, that would be funny.

13. I'm a big DS fan but Jon is sort of a dick sometimes
Granted I haven't seen this episode but just making an observation. At least Colbert has guests who are doing great things for the environment, education, etc. Stewart would never take 30 seconds of a segment to promote giving to the relief effort in Haiti or anything like that, if it's not a book about the economy or strictly political he has no interest.

9. My favorite
Olbermann impression will always be Ben Affleck, but Jon is definitely in second place.

"Now you are just calling people names."

Have you no shame, sir? Have you no shame?

11. OMG, that was the funniest thing I have seen in a long, long time.
K.O. means well and sometimes hits the mark (with the comment about the Supreme Court ruling) but then he goes overboard at times too. I love K.O. and Jon Stewart. The glasses, the overly big words...I was dying over here.
