They should announce they will throw out any congressmen
who are grossly breaching decorum at the Sate of the Union. No more "you lie" allowed. They should be dragged out of the chamber, just like rowdy people are removed from all speeches. It would be beautifully symbolic of standing up to the bullsh*t.

1. Since that asshole benefited from "you lie" I wouldn't
be surprised if there is more of the same at the STTU address.

2. Not after taking Kennedy's Senate seat. They have momentum and won't want to turn people off.

8. They also have IQs of grapefruits
Their "momentum" is not really momentum. What happened in MA was more an "anti-incumbent" issue than an anti-Democratic problem. These assclowns are incumbents, too. But, there are bound to be a few that don't recognize that, along with the fact that President Obama's approval rates and popularity are miles above that of the Congressional GOPers. They are too dazzled by the money Joke Wilson brought in when he acted out, and I'm willing to bet they will continue to overstep the bounds, just as they did when they controlled both houses of Congress. Somebody is likely to do something stupid.

13. You would think so, but now they probably feel more emboldened to play act as "populists"
and might think that acting like undisciplined two year olds would be just the trick.

They should be used again.

9. I doubt it will happen. The right would just love to turn this into the house of commons.

10. Agree. If they can't behave in a formal setting, they should not be allowed
to stay. If they want to act like children, treat them so.

11. I expect some mild booing from the Republicans but
not much more than that. It's an election year.

14. But more people will be watching just to see if something happens!

There's a silver lining there...

Let them make asses out of themselves. It's one of those rare occasions when people who aren't political junkies will watch. Obama will keep his cool throughout and the disrupters will disrupt poorly as they always do.
