Nate Silver says pass the popular parts of hcr bill but doesn't mention most unpopular is mandate
I have to say it is a bit disingenuous to say pass the good parts and not mention the tradeoff is having the one least popular part of the measure also pass. This is a manipulation of data if you ask me.

Deceiving people into thinking the bill will have public support because it has some popular aspects but not mentioning the poison pill is deceptive advertising. This is the sort of sales job that people selling gimmick mortgages do.

For the record 63% favor guaranteed issue while 62% do not favor a mandate. That is cognitive dissonance and shows part of the public doesn't understand the debate.
