1. How did you maintain control of your car? Where in Richmond was it? Near UofR? |

3. Silly of him to advertise his IQ on a bumpersticker. |
|
;)
How anyone can think Macaca Man could be a viable candidate, ESPECIALLY against a person of color, is beyond me. Then again, I've lived in VA long enough to know we've got plenty of stone-cold idjits in this state.

4. If it hadn't been for those 100 seconds in Wise County..... |
|
he probably would have gotten the Republican nomination and VA would have been take out of the picture by the media
WE WON VA FOR OBAMA-flipping my county in particular. ---------------- It helped that Webb was the alternative.

7. Allen truly makes my flesh crawl. If I have to hear his smarmy voice |
|
again, my radio may just end up in tiny stomped bits on the floor. TV-free, so at least I'd be spared his simpering grin.
Wasn't it amazing to have VA "in play"?-- first time in my life! Hoping our new guv doesn't make too big a cockup of things in the next 4 years and that we won't have the same kind of dismal choices we faced for a Dem challenger.

was speculating he would try to take on Jim Webb and regain his Senate seat. I hope that's all the bumper sticker was referring to.

|
I stopped even dropping by that radio station. It is complete lunacy-especially the afternoon guy :eyes:
They think they have a winner with Allen-they should: he is all suit, completely controllable, and a tall frontman.

But that show is pretty right wing when George Noorey is host. Ian Punnit seems kind of liberal.

8. I read in the Post a day or so ago that he's planning to take on Sen Webb. Can't believe |
|
he'd run again after the last fiasco. We Virginians have enough problems now that we're saddled with our right wingnut Governor. He's riding high, now giving rebuttal to SOTU address. I agree with the Repukes that VA was taken out of "play" when Pres. Obama didn't live up to his campaign promises on health care, torture etc. I believe if he doesn't do a quick turnaround that he's lost the Independents who swung VA his way. The base, including me, may be demoralized but we'd never vote for a Repuke. Not so with many Independents.

18. I can verify that...he was my State Senator... |
|
An absolute whack job...
Great speaker, very personable, great campaigner...and completely out of his mind.
The only silver lining is we were able to replace him in the Senate with a Democrat (barely)

17. Might happen...and he might win... |
|
Virginia has taken a hard turn right lately and it shows no sign of abating. There was a poll done not too long ago showing Allen only a couple points back of Webb...
Meanwhile Dems in Northern Virginia are becoming increasingly disillusioned over the direction of things and at this point are unlikely to put the kind of effort into getting Webb reelected they put in in 2006.
