9. You sound like a broken record. We all want it, it won't happen.

Let Obama know your plan to make this happen; he's asking.

10. How? He's asked it numerous times, and the 'party of no' had "NO"
solutions.

11. This line will bite him because he asked for a better solution
while he has ignored what the better solution is all along.

13. and we all know there is one.
so either he just doesn't believe a single payer system satisfies those criteria, or he's being hypocritical.

14. At one time (when he was a state senator) he supported single payer
more recently he said it would be the solution if "we were starting from scratch". So he knows its there, he knows what it could do. Now he even denies that he ever said there had to be a public option to "keep them honest". He chose to sell us out to pharma and the for profits - so I'm voting hypocritical.

12. I don't think he's really eager to see it. It's been arrested and thrown out of enough meetings.

15. I "let him know." Here's what I said:
Dear Mr. President,

In your speech tonight, you said "If anyone from either party has a better approach that will bring down premiums, bring down the deficit, cover the uninsured, strengthen medicare for seniors, and stop insurance company abuses, let me know. Let me know. Let me know. I am eager to see it."

I would like to "let you know" the answer, but I believe you already konw the answer. It is a SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

A SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM will accomplish all the things you listed.

And it's what we want.

You have asked, and we have answered and you already knew the answer. So what is left, but to bring it to the table and have a real discussion and debate about a SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

I sincerely *hope* you will bring about real *change* by pushing for a SINGLE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM, which will accomplish the goals you have listed.

Respectfully,
Gary Beckwith
