of the arrogance (of Obama!)", and is spewing several Rep. talking points!

Unbelievable....who the hell is this guy? I never heard of him. If Dems are talking like this, I can't imagine what the Republicans are saying!

5. You know exactly what that is.
I was just telling my wife last night that in the beginning they started using that word until they were called out on it's possible rascist connotations so they stopped doing it until after the Virginia, N.J. and Mass. elections emboldened them again so everyday, all day long on talk radio and talk TV we're back to the "he's so arrogant" crap. Arrogant arrogant arrogant. Everyday all day long now.

15. Calling the Prez arrogant reveals the insecurity of the speaker
(who clearly demonstrates his position beneath the Prez in terms of both class and power).

I always get a chuckle out of it.

17. ridiculous
Bill Pascrell is hardly a racist. He is a progressive, a former college professor whose district includes Paterson and Passaic with large black populations.

He doesn't like the proposed deal for HCR to pass the Senate bill and then use reconciliation and wants to pass HRC in small, separate bills. He wasn't talking even talking about Obama but about the other Dems in Congress.

12. Are you normally such a sap?
In the real world, not the world of dis-information, Pascrell didn't actually speak about Obama:

Pascrell Fed Up With 'Arrogant' Dems

New Jersey Democrat blasts his own party
By JAKE SHERMAN
Updated 2:30 PM EST, Mon, Jan 25, 2010

The same congressman who whacked “The Sopranos” is now taking on the House leadership for butchering the health care debate.

Rep. Bill Pascrell has called fellow Democrats “arrogant” and referred to a key party talking point as “BS.” He slammed deals cut by leadership and special interests and said, “We’re not going to accept that any longer.”

11. Apparently, all it takes is some lamebrain to post a Fox news headline on DU, and people believe it
Edited on Thu Jan-28-10 09:40 AM by brentspeak
Pascrell never singled out Obama -- in fact, never mentioned Obama at all. He spoke about the Democratic leadership in general.

Duh.

Rep. Bill Pascrell has called fellow Democrats “arrogant” and referred to a key party talking point as “BS.” He slammed deals cut by leadership and special interests and said, “We’re not going to accept that any longer.”

Agitated and unfiltered, Pascrell has become the guy who’s not afraid to go public with what many rank-and-file House Democrats have been saying behind closed doors.

“The people in Massachusetts sent a clear message,” he said. “If we didn’t get it in New Jersey or Virginia, we should’ve gotten it, certainly, Tuesday.”
