9. Chris is a twerp with little internal filter, but he came back later

on Rachel Maddow and made a very good explanation for what he was trying to say...I criticize Tweety incessantly, but in this case, I think we are jumping to conclusions. The guy is like a shaken bottle of beer with a loose cap--he blurts out whatever comes to mind and has a hard time later putting it back in the bottle. Nonetheless, I do not think he meant it to be a racist statement at all.

Most will not have heard him on Rachel since it came on around midnight ET. But the video may be up by now on her show's MSNBC site...
