It was a true joy to see you stand in front of that roomful of republicans that want you to fail and smack them down one after another.

3. Yes, his SotU was indeed very good; I enjoyed it very much...
Especially the way he tackled all the false presumptions about him that exist within the Republican party and the electorate. I also loved how he smacked down the media for reducing serious politics to soundbites and punditry.

5. The only other action possible is to sign bills when they are handed to him.
I love this vague "show action, show leadership" nonsense. People don't even know what it is a President does apparently.

6. what I meant was to back up his congress on the health care bill
Obama's leadership at specific times during the debate could have made a world of difference. Putting some pressure on specific senators could have made a huge difference.
A president does a few things more than give speeches and sign bills
