20. Obama addressed the rethug caucus and took questions.
The rethugs made the mistake of letting TV cameras in.

22. Republicans, be careful what you ask for!
I saw most of this exchange, and it was a joy to see! Repubs are always saying the President never listens to them.....well President Obama more than listened, he remembered each part of the question AND responded accordingly. Remember how Bush never allowed follow-up questions....or only five questions at all?....(supposedly because he was such a busy man...and so important)....well President Obama showed us exactly how Presidents SHOULD discuss and debate the issues....and he did it in front of the House Republicans....without notes......and he loved it!.

When someone suggested at one point....should this be the last question....President Obama said, "No...keep going.... THIS IS FUN!"

( My guess is that Republicans don't want the public to see...EVER again.... how intimidated and frightened they are to debate an INTELLIGENT president who knows what he is talking about.)

If you get a chance to see this.....your hope for this country will return.

Yea! President Obama :woohoo:

Edited on Fri Jan-29-10 03:18 PM by peaches2003
with the weekly questioning. Just looking at the last 4 Presidents we would have benefitted greatly. Obama and Clinton would have shone and the public would have seen the 2 Bushes, especially that little dimwit 43, for exactly what they are.

29. OBam Bam should challenge the Repugs to do this at the end of every congressional session

Every Prime Minister of every Parliamentary Government
has to do this every day that Parliament is sitting.

Which is why Harper is getting heat for dismissing Parliament
for no good reason.

The last time this was done Charles I lost his head. (allowances for exaggeration)
