10. He's smart enough to acknowledge and learn from a smarter person in the room
Putting that knowledge to work is called leadership.

11. Eh...
both parties are bankrolled by some very wealthy, powerful interests. Wall Street owns both of them.

12. may be true ... but how often do you hear a Dem come out and
pretty much demand the elimination of taxes on inherited wealth? You hear from the Repugs about the "Death Tax" (well, YOU don't get taxed if you die leaving millions+ of $$$ ... but heaven help your kids if they actually ever have to pay taxes on anything after the first 5 or so million dollars they inherit ... oops, another dollar in the pizza fund ...)

5. "I'd rather be happy than right any day."
Pretty much the guiding principle of what passes for most of humanity these days.

8. Repugs didn't see this coming...
If Obama continues like this, they're in big trouble in November.

9. That's part of it...
The other part is that the Republicans have gotten cocky. They've been listening to those "teleprompter" jokes too often. This isn't dimwit George W. Bush. They've caricatured the hell out of Obama but the truth is he is a strong debater and they underestimated his ability.
