A special shout out to Hillary |
|
After the events of the day, with Obama dismantling Republican talking points to their face on national television, I am going back in my mind to the primaries -- and thinking about the great debates Hillary and Obama had. She really challenged him and honed his debate skills over the course of the Primaries -- and we all benefited from it. Those debates, like today's -- were riveting. I have no doubt that those debates are part of the reason Obama so respects her -- and we should thank her for helping make him the sharpest he could be. I no longer, as I once did, fear him stumbling in these situations.
Her vast knowledge of policy, intelligence and wit are things we saw on display today coming from Obama in front of a hostile 300 person Republican crowd.
We have a great team. They all make me proud. :)

2. We saw Obama's policy, intelligence & wit |
|
But I do agree Hillary is the only one who has challenged him so far which says an enormous amount about HER intelligence & wit.

6. You made an important point... |
|
when you said you no longer fear him stumbling. Obama has gained a new respect and confidence from the people. No matter what happens, we have the smartest guy in the room looking out for us and make no mistake, he's looking out for our best interest.

11. I don't think she participated or had anything to do with kicking the GOP's butts. |
|
Don't know where she was. But she wasn't there, was she? I didn't see her there, anyway, and she certainly wasn't on the stage kickin' any butts.

But Hillary has been kicking Republican butts for decades. They tried to destroy her and her husband and they are both still standing tall.

14. Still, no reason to mention her as regards this event. Neither she nor Biden nor Pelosi had |
|
anything to do with it.
And no, Hill hasn't been kickin' Repub butts. She has mentioned that there was a conspiracy against her and her husband, but she's never gone into the Lion's Den and answered their questions directly and knocked them out of the ball park. Of course, she's never been in the position to be able to do that, never having been a President or Vice President or anything before. When she metnioned the conspiracy before, she was the First Lady. Like Michelle is the First Lady now. No kickin' butts goin on by First Ladies.
