94% of Faux News Viewers Give Obama an A Grade For First Year
It will be interesting to see how Bill O'Reilly spins this one. In a poll currently posted on O'Reilly's web page at FoxNews.com, 94% of viewers have given President Obama a grade of "A" for his first year in office. (ht to Wonkette and her tipster "Melissa P.")

1. pwned.
The spin is that "internet polls are not scientific", unless they want to use them to make a point... but that's a pretty impressive assault.

Did Bill piss off Anonymous, or another, similar, proxying "keyboard army" recently?

3. Spins? No, he'll just ignore it.
Or lie about it. The way the right handles everything they don't want known.

5. I'm watching Fox post- SOTU coverage now...
... (snow day whoohoo!)

They did a focus group of "average voters of all parties or no party) about 25 of them, and asked them if they were disappointed in the President BEFORE the speech .... almost everyone raised their hand .... then said "and are you still disappointed in him now after seeing the speech?"

Only four people were. ;)

6. i thought Fox news viewers were idiots, or
so it has been said s many times on DU. you cant have it both ways. Their opinion counts when they agree with DU, but, they are ostracized when they don't agree with DU.

So are they now smart or dumb?

7. Dumb as rocks
If 94% of them apparently agree Obama has received an "A" in his first year, but still continue to think he's a {socialist | Muslim | Mooslum | foreigner} and still continue to work against him at every turn, that puts them in the "dumb as a box of rocks" container.

What about you, Salmonslayer? What do you think of Obama and the job he's doing? I'm interested to hear. Waiting.

9. I doubt you would have 94% approving, but
still thinking Obama is "a {socialist | Muslim | Mooslum | foreigner}". There is a third reason that can not be explained with this poll because it needed more questions to get a better profile of the pool polled.

I don't think much of Obama's performance so far. I see a lot of talk but not a lot of action. I am not sure who he really is, but, I am willing to give it more time. To be fair, I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal and probably more of a centrist. I am probably further to the right than many on DU.

8. Some people just watch it for the news
I know of some staunch Dems and am surprised to find it on in their house, yet it's only the news. Granted Faux spins that and puts D in front of the names of Rs, but they don't watch O'Lielly and that sort of crap.

10. Maybe so,
but the poll was on O'Rielly's page or so I assume. For some reason I could not get to the link. wouldn't this skew the poll toward O'Rielly's viewing base?

I am one of those odd people that do not have cable, so, I rarely see Fox, CNN, MSNBC..... I am not really aware of the mix of shows they have

11. Weird
Maybe they give him a A for success which to them is "socialism?" They could admit he is succeeding without agreeing. Yet most of them would not seem to be that smart.
