2. I'm actually curious to see if this has any ramifications on the rest of the world...
... sure, it's a landmark day for US .... but will it have much traction?

I was glad to see CNN and ABC nightly news giving it as much attention as they did.

4. True. Even across the pond, the word is that Obama took the Republicans to school.
It's a small world nowadays what with the many Internets. People can get online and see for themselves. They know it, all right. And they are cheering.

... I didn't mean "the world" as in Europe ... I meant "the world" as in "your average American who doesn't usually care about politics."
