President Obama Skewers Republicans At GOP Retreat
One does not lie in bed waiting for the lion to drag you away as you sleep. You seek out the lion and slay him in his own den. That is what our President did on Friday, defending his record, his party, the truth and the nation. I am so proud of our President.

2. I'd say the only thing wrong with that article is
comparing Repubs to lions.

President Obama was the lion, making short work of a pack of jackals.

(My apologies to jackals.)

5. Ah. Well that explains a great deal.
One of those Leos who likes to take it easy, but don't mess with them. They have container ships filled with 50 gallon barrels of Whoop Ass.

9. Yep, we tend to give people the benefit of the doubt
but when we've been crossed, well, it just isn't pretty. We're fairly regal and we assume (and mostly rightly) that we own any room we're in. And when push comes to shove, we do. It's nice to see this laid back Leo taking back the room.

.... we've got the right metaphor .... just assigning it to the wrong party. ;)

Obama the Leo .... went into the den of thieves .... while the moon was in Leo (as Cha pointed out last night.)

It was a magical moment.

On edit.

Isn't Mars in conjunction with the Moon right now? Triple whammie.

7. I prefer the word "schooling" over "lecture". Lecture can denote a talking down to.
