Jim Bunning has struck out.

President Barack Obama signs H.R. 4691, Temporary Extension Act of 2010, in his private office in the residence of the White House, March 2, 2010.

ETA: My title should have read, "Unemployment Extension Passes 78-19; POTUS signs it into law. And then posts a photo of himself signing it on Twitter to RUB it in your face .... HATERS!!!"

8. Looks like a who's who list of the Midwest and Southern states, as usual.
I'm sure all those states have low unemployment numbers.

Then again, maybe not:

http://www.bls.gov/web/laumstrk.htm

Nevada 13.0%
Kentucky 10.7%
South Carolina 12.6%
North Carolina 11.2%
Tennessee 10.9%
Alabama 11.0%

So, of the 19 Senators that voted NAY, about half are from states with double-digit unemployment.

Smart. Real.... smart.

16. CNN stated Wednesday morning the Dems are working on a bill to extend UC
till January 11, instead of month to month as is it now. The bill WILL INCLUDE 3 provisions demanded by Bunning!!!!!

Show a little spine Democrats - even if it's all an act.

mark
