Get out of the Rose Garden, put the bully pulpit on wheels and go sell this to the middle class.

Let;'s go fill up some stadiums and scare the bejeezus out to the Party of No..

3. My only concern about his appearances, is that he's usually just preaching
to the choir. Although I'm always energized and sooooo excited when I watch these, I'm not sure he changes any minds. Those who oppose him aren't listening, or if they are, it's from the direction of finding fault with everything he says.

What do you think?

Regardless, I think we're on a roll and it's going to get done.

7. Was the choir the summit with the Rethugs around the table?

Didn't look like they were a Choir to me.

Or when he walked into a Room full of Republicans and took their questions on Health Care and came out smelling like a Rose?

The Meetings that were viewed by millions of people onn CSPAN and everywhere.

13. You know that's not what I meant. I'm talking about the people who show up
to his rallies in whatever towns.

Do you disagree that the majority of people attending are Dems who are in agreement with Obama?

And the millions who viewed the meetings went away with the same talking points/stances that those whom they follow put forth. The Republican viewers -- everyday people -- are still spouting their leaders' criticisms and demands for 'starting over'.

Again, do you disagree?

15. That's always the way it seems, but I want to be clear -- I'M not damning him. I just
don't know if his visits actually change any minds. Although at this point, I'm feeling pretty confident, nonetheless.

16. Actually a few stadiums - even if it's all 'choir' would make for some damn
good theater on the TV as opposed to a hundred or so people in a room.

Let Congress see however many thousands in the stands cheering loudly for some of this - then thank them, remind them to call their representative and to vote when they have the chance. He could focus the public's general disgust of Congress right now into plenty of pressure.

Denver II anyone?

11. Just the thought of Dallas
sent chills through me. And not the good kind.

Sorry, Texans. It was just the memory that flashed through my mind.

18. Yes, I made calls today and it sure felt good
That it was DU was suppose to be for ~ being a team and working for the Democratic Party.

That is what I miss but I decided to make my calls and it was very rewarding.
