Hawaii Voters Will Mail It In

Nobody will go to the polls to vote on a temporary replacement for Neil Abercrombie, who quit his job representing Hawaii in Congress so that he could be a full-time candidate for governor.

The Associated Press reports that the May 22 special election will be handled completely by mail.

Ballots will go out in early May and officials will count the ones they have in hand by 6 p.m. on May 22.
