Wow..... So much for objective news reporting.
AOL Headlines page just now:

"Why Is Obama Pushing Risky Health Bill?
The president doesn't seem to mind that he's flouting public opinion by demanding a vote -- 'I know it's right.'
A case of leadership or arrogance?"

...not that I had any illusions before this....................................

1. Steer clear of AOL. It's a dinosaur website that stays afloat by pandering to its
aging and curmudgeonly userbase.

5. Good advice.
I maintain a couple spam catching email accounts there just for online purchases and so forth.
Have to hold my nose and empty them every once in awhile.

2. AOL still exists?
I thought the internet grew up and away from that excuse for a BB.

4. It's an op-ed column, so I don't fault the writer here. I do question why AOL would run it...
on its front page, though.

6. Yes. It's an Op-Ed...
...but is running as News.

7. Exactly. The problem is with AOL, which, as pointed out elsewhere in the thread...
has sort of become the Fox News of web portals, catering to an aging, conservative base of voters that barely managed to make the transition from Prodigy to AOL and never moved on from there.
