Bwahahaha...

...

What benefits will I get?

Commonwealth Care members get health services by enrolling in health plans. There are several plans to choose from. Each health plan offers the same medical benefits, plus some extras. Some plans are only available in certain parts of Massachusetts. Some plans cost more than other plans.

All Commonwealth Care health plans include:

•outpatient medical care (doctor's visits, surgery, radiology and lab, abortion, community health center visits)
•inpatient medical care (hospitalization)
•mental health and substance abuse services (outpatient and inpatient)
•prescription drugs (pharmacy and mail service)
•rehabilitation services (cardiac rehabilitation, home health aide, therapies, inpatient services up to 100 days per year)
•vision care (exam and glasses every 24 months)
•dental care* (*this benefit is only for people with incomes at or below 100% FPG)
•emergency care including ambulance and out-of-state coverage
•wellness care (family planning, nutrition, prenatal and nurse midwife)
The health plan you choose may also offer extra services.

By the way, this morning Chris Wallace (on FauxNewsSunday) asked Romney why his book didn't talk more about guns, abortion, and gay marriage. :spray:

2. He is a republican, so his 'pro abortion' stance can be overlooked.
As long as he is not Pro Choice, that is.

3. Right ...
consistency and past positions and actions go TOTALLY out the window for the GOP front runner, if he ends up being it ...

4. Good question. Romney wants to be Mr. President but the path to his
party's nomination is a series of trapdoors on a rickety stage amid a dozen or so other thieves, amoralists, kooks, and dumbasses.

He played a more moderate card as Governor of Massachusetts and his opponents likely are gathering footage of his term there as we speak.

Many of the fundie nutbags who comprise a lot of the GOP's base are definitely edgy if not downright contemptuous about Romney's being a Mormon and given half the chance to vote for someone else in the Republican primary may just do so.

If Romney and say, Haley Barbour are on the GOP primary ballot in South Carolina, and you are the sort of South Carolinian Republican who thought Strom Thurmond was a sentient being, I think you'll reject the "liberal Mormon" and cast your vote for good ol' boy Barbour.

Romney's Achilles heel runs all the way up his leg, torso, and neck.

Romney appears to be something of a control freak. He's way over-rehearsed. There is a shadowy, sinister aspect to his face and speech. He's bullshit in aluminum foil. While we know that politicians are calculated, Romney's too tightly wound around his own calculations. There seems to be no warmth to him at all. Reagan, brain-addled and ridiculous as he certainly was, at least had a pretty good smile and an aw-shucks twinkle in his eye. Romney is automatonic and cold. He's all lab-coat serious and fails to tap into the American mythologies.

In a weak field he stands a fairly good chance, but the bad news for Romney is that in the same weak field there's no inevitability around his candidacy.

5. Barbour's not a religious right guy though
Far from it. He's basically owned by the casino industry. Not a bad thing as my hometown relies on the revenue it generates but the thing is, Barbour is not a religious right guy. He could get a generic Southern vote but against the Huck he'd be hard pressed to get the Baptists. Not defending Barbour, but Barbour wouldn't exactly tap the Huckabee vote as he's more in line with the Trent Lott-Thad Cochran wing of the MS GOP.

6. I hear you on that. I just think the deep South could rise again in
a candidate like Mississippi's Barbour in a defiance against the "northern" Romney.

Barbour is beginning to be something of a presence in the media of late. I think he is definitely in the race.
