It does not not take much to guess who this was said by.

I just put this in the video section, the fundies are lapping this up and Rethug sites think it is great. That in itself is scarier than the comment made by the most over-promoted failed politician and tv news talking head in the World.

1. Boy, THAT's an echo from the past!
"If the English language was good enough for Jesus Christ, it's good enough for me." - attributed to Texas Governor Miriam "Ma" Ferguson, during a debate on bilingual education in the Texas Legislature circa 1932.

2. What the hell??!
Beyond the fact that this idiot is trying to compare herself (AGAIN) to God, what did God allegedly write on his hand??

Does this idiot really think that an omnipotent, all-knowing spiritual being needs to "write on his hand?" As if he didn't have crib notes scrawled on his palm, what, he'd forget what he was going to say or something?? Good God, this woman is beyond insanely stupid.

9. Here's her reference...
Imagine Palin even knowing this...

"Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands.."
Isaiah 49: 15-16

This is an historical reference to the demise of the nation Israel,
and the prophet is giving them metaphors to explain that they won't be
forgotten. BUT... she thinks this is about HER! Its always about HER!

She has no concept of understanding ancient literature, and probably
thinks the Iliad and the Odyssey are about her too...

Frankly, if my Hebrew, tho rusty, is correct,
the original text says: "I have CARVED you into the palm.."
Try that Sarah...

10. Thanks for that reference! But does it not occur to that idiot and her deranged fans
that this particular phrase is a metaphor, and that the person is using the phrase "I inscribed you on the palms of my hands" as a way of saying "I have committed you to my memory?"

It's like when someone says something was "seared into their memory" or "burned into their brain." My opinion of Sarah Palin is about as low as it gets, but surely she is not stupid enough to think that means that someone had something literally BURNED into their brain?? :silly:

3. Good to see you about Number23
:pals:

I'll say it again, she is an over promoted tv news talking head and a failed politician. I'm saving the popcorn for the Republican Primaries in two years time.

4. Like I told you in the BOG, BB
You all better love me while you can because soon I'll be as scarce around here as common sense and wisdom. :)

And I think that Ms. Sarah's foray into reality television is her way of effectively putting the "ky-bosh" on any political aspirations. Or that's what I'm telling myself, anyway...

5. I don't see it that way.
It is free advertising for Palin, bringing her into the living rooms of people. Soft selling Sarah the person.

It has been tried many times before, but it does not work.

6. "I was sick ... and you did NOT look after me...."
Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'. They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Then they will go away to eternal punishment.... ~ Matt. 25:41-46

... hate to break this to you Sarah but there ARE ACTUAL Christians in the "Democrat" party and we can throw some scripture RIGHT back at 'cha! ;)

7. I don't think God scribbled on his hand with a Sharpie.

8. Sarah Palin must have some sort of psychological problem.
She keeps on thinking she is godlike. What a wacko.
