Who? Maybe Grover Cleveland?

Nobody EVER called Wilson a "Red"-especially after he let his Attorney General, A. Mitchell Palmer(who was trying to run for president and called himself "The Fighting Quaker, while his opponents called him "The Quaking Fighter")arrest and/or deport virtually the entire U.S. left.

To say nothing of the insane, pointless war for corporate profit that Wilson got us into in Europe.

Then again, Wilson was also a hard-line segregationist, unenthusiastic about women's suffrage, and a brutal opponent of the labor movement.

(In other words, The DLC's "dream candidate".)

4. Since they were calling him that after he just achieved an overwhelming victory
They are 1) just name-calling and 2) implying that their fellow Americans voted for socialism
