... give 'em HELL Barack Obama!!!

“Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer” is a line from a cheer, typically played when the Crimson Tide has put a game away. Specifically the “Rammer Jammer” was an old campus magazine at Alabama, and the yellowhammer is the state bird of Alabama. They are juxtaposed in the cheer primarily because they are among a very few words that rhyme (approximately) with Alabama. If Alabama has beaten, say, the Tigers, then fans will stand and sing:

Hey Tigers
Hey Tigers
We just beat the hell outta you!
Rammer Jammer Yellowhammer
Give 'em hell Alabama

(I hope you all will forgive me this little indulgence. I've been a fan of Alabama football since before I even KNEW what a football was. So I have been looking forward to this day since they won the National Championship. And everyone say "hey!" to my family members visiting this thread! :hi: )

3. That's one of the most classless yells in the history of college football.
Screaming that shit at 18-22 year-old-college kids. No wonder so many SEC coaches turned Bama in for buying football players a few years ago.

Great pics as usual.
I really, really love that dress on Michelle. :)
And I understand the obsession with sports. I grew up with Big East basketball, the UConn women won their 71st (!) straight win today.

7. Go ahead, haters. Go ahead and wish that Bush was back in office. I'm stickin'.
Go ahead and wish that you had voted for McCain instead. I'm stickin'.

Go ahead and wish that Sarah Palin was a 78 year-old-heartbeat away from the Presidency. I'm stickin'.

I didn't stop believing in Santa Claus because he didn't give me everything I wanted. I stopped believing in him because Santa Claus doesn't exist.

President Obama exists. He doesn't give me everything I want exactly when I want it. But I still believe in him.

I'm stickin'.
