It hardly seems fair that only Minnesotans are asked to disapprove of
Tim Pawlenty:

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/03/poll-minnesotans-disapprove-of-pawlenty-dont-want-him-to-run-for-president.php?ref=fpa

Even though I do not live in that state, I would still appreciate being asked by pollsters how much I dislike Pawlenty, how little respect I have for him, to what degree I feel he is a lame-brained hack puppet of the far right, etc.

People who dislike Pawlenty in say, New Mexico, or Connecticut, or Virginia, should have an opportunity to register their disapproval of a spectacularly unqualified potential presidential candidate. When a candidate is as bad as Tim Pawlenty, a regional poll is downright exclusional.

2. Unfortunately, he represents only the people of Minnesota at this time
When he hits the national scene such as running for President, we can all switch hit and vote no for him in the primaries or to a lesser extent participate in polls on how we feel about him.

Until someone polls the national audience on him or any other state candidate, there is not much say for those of who do not live in that officials district or state.

I think he is a terrible choice as well, a right wing tool all the way.

3. He is a sly faced sneaky S.O.B.
He really went over the edge when he said "my wife is hot". Who in the hell cares. Does her looks bring food to the table for the poor. And since this whey faced asswipe took office Minnesota has almost twice as many. But they have more rich. And now the public is getting on him and saying no no no no to public funds for that fancy dancy Vikings stadium he wants to put near Minneapolis to pay back the crooks who are supposed to have voted for him. He won't get that stadium with public money, he cut from social projects like schools, hospitals, fuel programs, food projects and health care. He was already to use it for the stadium.
