Question on health care costs. The price gouging of medicines.
Where does that get covered or fixed? We've all read stories of people getting the hospital bill and finding that an aspirin or a tylenol pill or a box of kleenex costs hundreds of dollars.

Think about how that gets replicated hundreds of times a day in hospitals all over the country. I've worked in big Pharma for years - I know what Pharma companies charge, but I also know how much of that is profit. Then there is the "hospital surcharge". It is obscene.

Has anyone read about any of the bills remedying that? And of course when insurance covers some of the costs, they are absorbing some of these obscene overcharges. I guess it is kind of a racket between the drug companies, hospitals, and insurance companies. I would hope that somewhere in some bill that would get fixed.....but????
