It's only a "dream" if we choose it to be
Edited on Sat Mar-13-10 01:32 AM by Armstead
We will never get real health reform.

Why? Because we are a bunch of spineless weasels who have decided that actual health care coverage that is actually based on maintaining the health of real people is a "dream."

Thus it will remain a dream....or in this case a fucking nightmare.

2. If I could point out another dream.... We really have no representation.
I think once we wake up to that, the rest will make more sense.

3. We do have representation. We're a defeatist nation and we elect defeatists.

4. Except when we get fed up with defeatism. Then we elect con artists.

And eventually, they will indeed want the monkey off of their backs.

7. Surprisingly, a lot of them do want it -- Strange bedfellows
A lot of major busineseses do want some kind of actual reform, becayuse they are getting screwed along with the rest of us.

But I suppose on balance they'd prefer not to rock the boat on that one. So they are spineless weasels too.
