10. I was going to suggest that, as well... |

But, sometimes, that pisses off DU members. It should NOT matter if he's gay, but the quality of people who lie their asses off. We've seen over and over again how many of them disguise themselves as Christians and oh, so heterosexual in the Republican party.
How lame is that?

14. It only pisses me off when people figure - |

if someone's evil, they must be Republican . . . but to be superDUPER evil, they have to be gay AND Republican.
I mean, being compared to Satan on a weekly basis is enough, but that is just nasty.

15. His main message that HCR will end bipartisanship actually is an idle threat |
|
First off, there is little bipartisanship happening.
Second, he says he believes in the work he is doing with Kerry and Lieberman on energy/climate change and that he believes in the work that he is doing with Schumer on immigration. What changes on those issues if HCR passes? Nothing. So, he is saying that he will simply sit and pout if HCR passes.
What was really needed was that instead of it being Jake Tapper throwing him softballs, they needed a Democrat next to him - to challange comments that he likely doesn't mean. (In 2008, Kerry often got him to backtrack or, if he kept insisting a nervous tic took over his eye.) I assume Schumer might have been able to do the same,

16. Don't mistake what passes between Graham's lips for what he really feels. |
|
What you see on the TV is just a political stance, and Graham's requires that we hate.
