We're just not ready.
There are too many corporate persons out there who just don't WANT to change. They're the operators of this bonfire casino known as unbridled corporatism and they're making out like bandits.
Those citizens who want "change" better realize the deck is stacked and they ain't getting it. They're too afraid of arrest and police assault to make real change anyway. It's kind of easy when you have all the guns, police and media on your side. And the right wing, Jesus, I guess it's just far easier to call Democrats "communists" like good little puppets than wake up and realize they're being played like an old Atari.
