Poor President Obama, no matter what you do, you can never please
all the people, all the time. Please do what is needed to pass health care reform with a public option. Did I say, I love you? Am one of your biggest supporter from afar, wish I were closer!

1. It always seems so easy from "out here" -- cut and dried, no problem-o. This
is what I'd do if I were President...

We don't have any idea what it's really like in that cesspool back there. I, too, appreciate what Obama has done, and is trying to do. A work in progress. :7 :hi:

3. I do understand, am in Canada hon, but health care in the US has
always been a money making corporatist thing. Can President Obama just say, health care for all when Bush drew the country's resources for over 8 years in China's pockets?

Even in your own home, if you mess up, it takes a while to soothe the problems out and get the family members back on track.

Lemme tell you this, if I were Obama, I would a concede to Hilary, too much shit to clean up!

2. When you go about attempting to PLEASE EVERYONE - Post Partisan? ...
Obama is not a leader. He would have made a much better Attorney General or Supreme Court Justice. However, as a President, he's a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Never has someone with so much potential disillusioned so many in so little time. :(

5. No he's not a leader at all. He's a consensus builder. LEADERS take the

proper moral decision even if it's not from the moneyed elites and the powerful.

Leaders serve THE PEOPLE that are his subordinates before they enrich their superiors or peers.

Don't confuse a highly intelligent and socially gifted person with "a leader."

All I've seen in President Obama, to date, is capitation to those with power and money. Everything he's told the little people like us, is NOTHING MORE than amorphous "happy talk."

Think about it? BOTH Foreign Policy and Domestic Policy? Hum?

I'm just as big of FOOL as you because I also voted for him. Not again though. That's the difference.

so feel free to chastise him and jump up and scream like you know him!

Let us agree to disagree and I love President Obama and nothing you can say will change my mind. Keep jumping up and down! It's amusing!

8. I voted for the man. I supported him during the primary wars, that should account for something?
However, what I've seen over the course of the past year has used up all my positive feelings and hope.

President Obama is, simply put, "a new democrat" = "a corporatist democrat."

Corporatists have infiltrated BOTH PARTIES. That must be what he meant by post-partisan.

President Obama has maintained GRIDLOCK and vicious partisan bickering ALL AROUND HIM. It's this status-quo that keeps our corporate right wing duopoly functional for those within the upper 1%.

I'm sorry, that's not how I define "leadership."

23. Like I said, I don't ever use it.
And if I really wasn't worth even the effort to click on the ignore button it makes no sense that I'm worth responding to as you're doing, does it? Isn't that a lot more effort than a single click would be?

Either you choose to ignore me or deal with me on the rare times I even respond to you. If you don't want to use ignore that's fine. You're certainly under no obligation to respond back one way or the other. But I'm not using ignore on you or anyone else.

Kuch in my point of view is an asshole, the Health Reform Bill is better

than ever and he is opposing it, why? He should give his up and see how it feels to be without health care, the asshole with a goodlooking wife! What has he done for Americans except being a clown with his opposing this Bill. It is a fucking start. President Clinton tried and the fuckers beat him down, now President Obama is trying and the same tire ass arguments from Democrats. Hey Democrats, give up your fucking access to health care and go live on the streets for a day. Bunch a fucks!

No harm no foul. You haven't said anything half as bad as numerous others on DU have said to me. This was mild, and I have my armor on when I read DU.

And your post here is why I don't use ignore. You never know who will say something cool unexpectedly. My own apologies to you for the harshness...my mood on DU is not a good one anymore.

Peace.

39. The mandates I believe are just to assure everyone participates
I'm not sure I like them either but if everyone doesn't participate then you end up with what we have now which is people going to the emergency rooms and not being able to pay. There are going to be subsidies to help with paying for the insurance. I don't love the idea of insurance companies either but it's the system we live with and until something better comes along - it's what we have to work with. The energy for change needs to be put into congress where the gridlock happens.

I am not an Obama cheerleader by any means, but sometimes it seems like he just can’t win with some folks. He can develop the cure for cancer in his spare time, just to be criticized for causing 1,000’s of cancer researchers to lose their jobs.
