"What's in it for me?"
I am going to start throwing things at the radio.

The jobs bills passes..

Local talk show host who is right of Limbaugh, is all upset, because he wants to know what is in it for him

The fact that SS (social security) taxes will not be taken out for six months from the individual new hire, and companies that keep new hires for over a year. will get a 1,000 dollar bonus...

Not a good thing for him apparently.

"What's in it for me?" he whined into the microphone.

"Why do I who have been making sacrifices and working all along (I am not making this up, just reporting it) get a six month reprieve from paying SS taxes."?

Doing something that benefits someone besides themselves, is just not a part of their psyche.

1. "What's in it for me?" is the alternate Republican motto along with
"You're On Your Own". That makes them YOYOs, with apologies to the yoyo which at least has redeeming social value.

4. Even locally, I have found Republicans against anything unless
there was something in it for them. But also if there is something in it for the rich and wealthy they will roll over and support it like a dog that wants its belly scratched.

8. At the heart of the conservative ideology is self interest
they dress it up, disguise it but it in the end it's just about being self centered.
