I am a proud Terps fan just like you, but the one thing that scares the hell out of me is that for the past 11 years Tom Izzo has got Michigan State into the final 4 a total of 5 times. This game will come down to guard play.

I used to do a blues show on WODU, lol. Also did some plays with The University Players. I enjoyed my time there, but wasn't always a model student.

My sister's husband fared better at ODU - stayed all the way through his doctorate in physics. :-)

I do it for the helluva it in the office pool. Hasn't won me anything in the past 2 years. BTW, I know squat about NCAA basketball but I managed to win the pool twice in the last 4 years. Little $5 pool where we get about 50-60 sheets. I used the Pomeroy ratings & a little intuition.

But based on observation I'm trying a new thing this year. I'm going to pick the first rounds and then at the sweet 16 I'm going to let my more knowledgeable friend take over. My random picks seem to do better in the first few rounds than my friend who knows what he's doing, but once it gets later, his picks seem to do better.

A lot of it is luck. There can be upsets that will screw up the brackets very easily.
