Obama owned Baier on Fox
Edited on Wed Mar-17-10 05:22 PM by Botany
We gotta wrap up .... I am getting the wrap up sign. Baier.

Might as well call Obama the Bus Driver because he is taking Baier and Fox to school.

Are you gonna let me finish my answer? Obama

More later in the hour.

2. Tool Baier even had to apologize for "interrupting" the President
in his answers....said, "sorry that I had to keep interrupting you, but I we had to get a bang for our buck"......

What an asshole!

7. No doubt he had a producer in his ear and when Obama was spelling out ...
.... all the points in his answers "they" had to stop him.

Obama's "Look I inherited these problems and to be fair you can blame them
on me but I will work to try to fix them anyway." very rough quote

25. Sad that somebody so rude and inadequate gets to interrupt this President
like that. Same asshat who would drop to his knees and do whatever King George would have ordered.

26. It's sad that somebody so rude and inadequate has that job in the first place
Especially when there are millions out there with no jobs, who could have done that interview a zillion times better than this assclown. In a sane world, he would be on litter patrol, not on a nation-wide network interviewing the President.

32. Why? he did.
I don't see the Republicans stop saying what they say,
but the difference is they lie....he's telling the truth.
The truth never gets old. especially with those who have the attention
of kindergardeners, i.e., much of the American people.

5. Barack Obama is PISSED!!!!
At Baier and the Congress at ANYONE within 10 feet of him.

He started OFF the interview with the "what are you trying to pull" face and wore it the WHOLE time.

Give him a few more days of this BS and he'll be trying to find a way to dissolve Congress (and who would blame him?)

10. You have the President in a one-on-one and
they give you a wrap signal? They must have realized they were toast. You don't cut off the President you milk a chance like that for all it is worth.

11. They had more important "news" to cover like Glen Beck's latest crying jag.
Seriously, most real journalists try to get a good interview subject to extend their interview, not cut it short.

but typically these interviews are time limited by the WH. The president is a busy man.

17. Not to defend Fox...
.... but you did. It was not the White House cutting it off but it was Fox cutting it off.
BTW they did have time later to get back to Baier and question about Tiger Woods.

Baier did the "time to wrap up" as Obama was kicking ass and taking names.

22. We don't know who it was.
However, typically these interviews with the president are on a time limit set by the WH. So even if it was Fox it may have been because they were running out of time or a deadline was coming to get it prepped for the show.

23. If it was the WH that wanted it "wrapped up", the president would have known.
Can you imagine the shit flying if the President learned that his people "wrapped it up" while he was making a point?

As far as defending Faux, you are walking on very thin ice. When in doubt, fuck Faux.

I'll finish after Countdown, but POTUS is eating Baier's lunch. Baier is being very disrespectful and constantly interrupting POTUS.

"I'm trying to answer your questions, but you keep interrupting me."

Baier looks like an idiot.

the President -- it's cute in an impudent-FOX-News-obnoxious-propaganda sort of way.

The mission of FOX News is to oppose Democrats, to debase this Democratic president in particular, and to stoke the "outrage" of the uninformed and the disaffected out there in Kookville.

Baier said that wasn't his usual style of interviewing.....I'm sure he was told to do the interview like that, as in interrupt and not let the POTUS get his point across. D*mn I thought the Pres did a good job......
