Key point: Dems will be touting immediate benefits from now until Nov.

as I watch the clips.

You know what's going to be funny: when the REPUBS START TAKING CREDIT FOR HCR, like they did for stimulus fund projects. It's going to be a 180 on Sunday or later after this thing passes.

lol and the rest of the crowd laughs.

You can tell it's a room full of Democrats. :)

Obama points out that it IS alright because, unlike the last admin. they're paying for it using money that they're already spending .... spending it more efficiently.

I didn't have MSNBC on, so I don't know how they covered it. But ole Larry Kudlow was practically choking on his coffee when Obama's speech ended. He was one of Reagan's economists & chief supply side cheerleader. Hi just threw out one last talking point & cut to commercial. First time I've seen him practically speechless.

.... when he went to shake hands, the women were jumping up and down and screaming for him and there was a young man with his arms outstretched as if he wanted to hug him.

Heck, I'm feelin like if I could touch his pants hem it would clear up my sinus passages. (yep, throwing in that Jesus reference just to annoy the haters.)

I begged for antibiotics and they gave them to me (I am a diabetic and infections never leave me unless they are eradicated with drugs). Feel better. Maybe you absorbed the Messiah's power through the tv }( .

You will need energy for Sunday! You don't want the sinus infection I had. The headaches it produced were the worst ones I have ever had.

She wants to go shopping for my kids. How can someone say no to that? But we won't discuss healthcare reform, she is a conservative.

I swear we all need to take our computers with us to wherever we are going on Sunday. Or maybe I just need an iphone.

55. Thank you so much, Clio
Very kind of you! I'm getting so, SO excited and jazzed. Could it be that Obama timed it all perfectly (except for the loss of the PO - that really tees me off. They definitely didn't play the "middle" right in my mind....should have had single-payer at the table at the outset - given it legitimacy.)

Anyway, after a period of letdown about BO's lack of participation, I am now really pleased. I hope they learned something, also, about the politics, bipartisanship, etc., in this process. If we come out of it with a decent piece of legislation - which Obama seems to really believe in - it will be a pretty cheap lesson.

Thanks, again!
