My NY Rep, Rangel, is a yes. I do not like this Scott Murphy guy.

5. Yeah, I'm lucky that mine (Inslee) 9 times out of 10 does the right thing (meaning
he does what I want him to! :7). In this case, I want a yea vote for HCR, and he's 'on board'. Thanks again, Congressman Inslee! :headbang:

8. My rep is Bob Filner (CA). He voted YEA in Nov 2009, and will vote YEA this weekend.
Filner's a great Progressive and a founding member of the Progressive Caucus. He's always working for the low and middle income people in his (my) district.

That's why he's been able, as a white male, to win re-election 6 times, in a heavy minority district (whites are only 30% of the population here), including defeating several minority challengers, namely Juan Vargas. Vargas is a moderate Democrat, compared to Filner being a liberal/Progressive Democrat.

he was one of the authors of the House bill and healthcare has been the issue of his career since he was elected. In fact we're rallying outside his office tomorrow to show support for his vote.
