"Pro-choice female Dems are shuttling in and out of Pelosi's office and they won't say why." |

Need to work on other areas that can support pro-choice supporters.

4. I bet it is an amendment that reaffirms the Hyde Amendment |
|
It will be innocuous saying something like :noting i this legislation shall be construed to contradict the Hyde Amendment.

18. I Don't Think They Can Do That |
|
The bill has to be voted on as is and they can't do it through reconciliation as it doesn't have to do with the budget. She might promise to let him bring a bill to the floor but it would be a huge fight for him to get that passed in the senate.

22. Technically you are right |
|
But do you really think the GOP would raise a parliamentary objection over such language?
That would be really really disconcerting to everyone.
I thin there will be some sort of vote by the House to this effect though

28. She was also endorsed by Stupak in 2008 |
|
"The two rivals have a political history together. Saltonstall admitted she has voted for Stupak and worked as a volunteer on his campaign in previous elections. Stupak also endorsed her during her most recent campaign – an unsuccessful bid to represent the 105th district in the Michigan House of Representatives back in 2008." http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/03/10/stupak-facing-primary-challenger-over-abortion-funding/?fbid=5HpwakQ48nC

Good enough for Catholic nuns & hospitals should be good enough for him.
No deals with this ass hole.

seem to need more incentive to vote for HCR.
edit: I can't get over what a stooge she's become for the bishops.

Anybody who knows me (and that should be everybody here as I post a lot) should know that not passing the bill is not an option. Stupid would not dare be the one to kill this.

For the love of all that's holy, be on the right (i.e., left) side of history. Listen to the nuns or they'll beat you with a ruler!

Thanks. Is she shuttling in and out by herself?
This may be something, but it may not be. It's probably not a good time for Nancy to be planning a baby shower, but there could be lots of reason that female Dems are seeing her.
