How much pressure has the GOP placed on Gao this time. Recall that he was the only repub to vote
yes in November. Pretty sure they have shaken him down.

1. Who knows what they are promising him.. He was a fluke vote if I can recall.
I think his 2 yrs are up this fall anyway.

to beat the colored folks for re-election.

His lil azz is gone anyway, so he need to figure it out. Figure out how he is going to vote yea and not get beatdown by the rethugs. Bless his lil heart! I almost feel sorry for him. NOT!!!

probably vote no for no other reason than the republicons would turn violent if he didn't.

5. Probably not as much as you'd think
Both sides seem to view Cao as a political Dead Man Walking who will lose to any halfway credible Democratic challenger. He only won last time because he was fortunate enough to run against the incomparably sleazy Bill Jefferson.

6. He was on CNN earlier and basically said he didn't have to vote how his constituents would want
He was a long shot for re-election before, but now he can just forget it altogether, he is toast.
