I know they will find a way to screw this up.

I can't even stomach that democrats might kill this bill.

All these new Yes votes and it seems we're still like 10 votes away. WTF? We were 10 votes away 20 yes votes ago

3. it's the job of cnn to keep you riveted to their channel all day. Saying it's a done
deal is bad for business. Pelosi, Reid and Obama wouldn't all be out there saying they have the votes if they didn't.

4. If you watched Pelosi, Hoyer and Obama just awhile ago its clear this is a done deal.
They have the votes. Trust me.

5. It seems that CNN doesn't have the resources that
some others have...

I don't trust their count one bit.

6. We aren't 10 votes away. Of the 20 listed as undecided on the NY Times whip count
at least 12 and probably more have already given quiet "yes" pledges to leadership. Leadership will continue to whip votes so they have the margin to let the most vulnerable off the hook. Some of the names of the new pledges will be released today so that leadership shows they have the momentum.

I don't know which 12 have given pledges but my guess include:

Baird, Berry, Costello, Dahlkempy, Cuellar, Mollohan, Kaptur, Space, Kanjorski, Lipinski, Rahall and Carney.

Stupek's original 12 dwindled to 8 then 6. Now its down to 4.

7. From Wonk Room:
# MT @ddayen: If Stupak only has 6 it's over. If he has more than 6, Dems have to lock up another former no vote less than a minute ago via TweetDeck

10. No kidding!
I can't always find the money to donate to candidates, but I have come to just LOATHE Stupak. I may dig deep to help out with that cause. It's just unreal how willing he is to hold an entire country hostage over health care for something that's already a non-issue!

12. That assumes that no "no" changes back to a yes
I would bet that Obama might have made the case to many in that incredible speech. There was one part, where they had to think - "that is how I sell this" and other better parts where they know they might regret forever not voting yes on this.

From Obama's, Pelosi's, and Hoyer's faces and comments, they have the votes.
