Not one more.

I mean it!

You have had this thing since Nov. 18th or so..

That is over 120 days.

If all you did was read 15 or 16 pages a day, you would have read through it.

Not another word about it. I am up to my ears with the whining and complaining.

Edit to add.. I am in full parental mode at this moment.

1. You tell him!
:D

Just don't expect a response, except perhaps more whining. He's perfecting that!

3. At some point even the talking heads are going to start throwing it back at them
My son when he was only 8 or 9 might have done that.. But these are adults.

2. Sometimes when he complains about the size of the bill,
I think he is complaining about the size of his member.

9. I wish just ONE person would ask him how many pages the prescription drug bill was...
or how he felt about his leadership keeping the vote open for 3 hours over the allotted time so they could twist arms and pass it "in the dead of night." Hypocrites.

12. It's not that hard to read that much.
In fact, my partner/spouse/husband (depending upon whose terms you prefer) Bryan set out to read 7,500 pages this year, and has found it to be an almost ridiculously easy task. If you're curious, you can track his progress at http://www.7500pages.com

When you consider that a lot of the space on those pages is taken up by whitespace, line numbers, and a lot of repeated text, reading the entire healthcare bill is not at all that difficult.

Well, that is, if you're literate, which a lot of conservatives aren't, and the Publicans like to take advantage of that fact.

14. I wish somebody would ask him the following questions:
1.) What is the size of the average bill?
2.) How many pages is a given bill *allowed* to be?
3.) Why does it matter how big a bill is?
4.) Why wouldn't a bill about comprehensive health care reform be a little on the big side? (I realize that many of us have proposals like SP which are shorter but I'm focusing on the current-and-likely-to-be-adopted proposal)
5.) Aren't THEY paid the big bucks (and good health insurance coverage BTW) to read through and vote on bills no matter their size?
