My theory on ACORN and why Obama isn't making congress backtrack... |
|
Why because ACORN will be a thorn in his side when he runs in 2012, with ACORN gone they can't be.
So basically he isn't making congress reinstate ACORN funds because he doesn't want to be beaten over the head with it.
In my eyes that has to be the only reason why ACORN hasn't been addressed. I know HCR is big but there was an obvious miscarriage of justice here and Obama came out and dissed ACORN because of the Pimp and Ho video. No doubt he knows that it has been discovered to be a fake. No way in hell he should allow a community organization who does good, just like the community organizations he's worked with fail due to bankruptcy due to a fake bullshit prank by RW psychopaths.

1. I don't know. ACORN was helpful in getting him elected. |
|
I would think that the organization's involvement would be a net positive.

2. I agree he should fight for them but I think he doesn't because he doesn't need them |

ACORN has registered quite a few which helped him to win in 2008.
But being beaten on the head with ACORN was enough for him to want to not to have to deal with it in 2010.

3. Obama has made his position clear on progressive causes: FUCK 'em. |
|
Community organizing is no longer his work. Maintaining the status quo for the rick and powerful is. That's why Obama changed his tune on the pubic option and no mandates for HCR after he got elected. ACORN is another casualty of the turncoat presidency of Obama.
