Congress (and the Republicans especially) should be ashamed of the quality of debate.
This is not debate, it is talking points, it is nonsense, talking of an onward march to socialism, taxpayer funded abortions and government take over of health care.

All of the talk of tort reform from their side but no statement about how that would work (because it wouldn't). No proposals of their own except to say we had some and they were ignored (it was tort reform).

This Parliamentary body which the Republican Party wanted to hold up as a model to the World is am embarrassment.

WHO thinks this is a debate? Nobody is going to change their mind. It is just for show. The whole game is driven by party's agendas.

4. I'd like to hear why the Democratic hold outs
think it is wrong, maybe they can come up with a better argument (I doubt it).

Does anyone really believe this "socialist" nonsense?
