I believe Republicans are pushing Right-Wingers to do something |
|
The more and more I hear these extreme and totally bullshit accusations about HCR (even coming from someone who thinks the current bill is weak), the more I think Republicans are pushing, hoping that something crazy happens. That's the only way to explain Glenn Beck, the refusal of Republicans to denounce the extreme attacks of the Teabaggers, etc. Having read part of The Shock Doctrine, these people pray for something bad to happen so they can enact "reforms." I still fail to see the logic in the Republican party's actions. Are they trying to build up so much hate and fear hoping people run to them as saviors? Is that it? I don't get that party at all.

6. GOP Reps standing on the balcony holding signs that say |
|
"Kill the Bill" was disturbing. The teabaggers below have no way to kill the bill, only the House GOP could do that. Yet there they stand with holding "Kill" signs to the rabid crowd below.
Was there a subliminal message in there? I don't know, but it's disturbing.
