Who is this Ed Shultz guy?
And what have they done to the guy that has the afternoon show?

This guy is always way over the top.

First he disparages the bill for weeks and castigates Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Now its THE GREATEST BILL OF ALL TIME and Obama, Pelosi and Reid should go on to Mt Rushmore.

Glad that he is on the passage side but don't really trust people who can't modulate their over the top rants.

1. I hear ya on that. I stopped watching him even before I went back
to work. His loud mouth ripping Dems to shreds everyday was too much for me.

2. He came around gradually, once he realized that
his rants weren't helping anything.

Maybe those letters that I was sending him
helped?

Hey, I'll take whatever credit I can take.
Why not? I was the one that I was waiting for
once again! :)

6. Thankfully, CPAN is carrying this live, George Miller at this moment.
Far too often I have no choice but to listen to Ed's interpretation of events.

Not this time.

I wonder where cliffordu is and if he stopped somewhere to catch up...

OTOH, a break from all this is probably healthy!

:P

7. He's one of the few liberals we have in the MSM
He is consistently on the side of workers, and consistently progressive.

He'll get no criticisms from me.

9. He saw the light a while ago -- I think after talking to the likes of
Dean. I'm hoping he'll be a fighter for the Grayson proposal -- he is (Ed) a single payer advocate.

11. Have you listened to his protegee Nor-man Gold-man?
He used to be reasonable but since he replaced Ron Reagan's talk show time slot he's all anti-Obama all the time. Dems and Obama can do no right and he makes sure that he opens his show sayin that daily. Repubs love him. Me? I'm just about done with "progrssive" radio with the likes of Schultz and Goldman at the helm.

17. Well Keith obviously has other issues he has to deal with...
... and Tweety's son got married this weekend.

Not sure about Rachel, but HCR hadn't been her area of expertise, so who knows.

But I am secretly, selfishly wishing that KO will come swooping in at the 10pm hour to surprise us.

19. if I ran MSNBC I would hire Cenk Ugyar
and give him a show at Ed's slot. Ed's way too abrasive for me. I'm pretty sure his ratings aren't so hot either. Cenk is pretty rational and even-keeled (usually) and knows his stuff second only to Maddow.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before he gets his own program.
